Damaged Baggage Declaration/Delayed Baggage Declaration

1. The reporting system only applies to passengers who took international flights operated by China Airlines or Mandarin Airlines on the last segment of the trip. If you travel with other operating carriers on the last segment of the trip, please contact the operating carrier to report the case. A baggage claim check (tag) is required to declare damaged or delayed baggage. If you lost your baggage claim check (tag), please contact the local airport office. Please declare truthfully, China Airlines reserve the right to accept and file a case.
2. Please note: The declaration of lost baggage must be made within 21 days after your arrival, starting from the following day of arrival. We will make every effort to locate your baggage for you. We will contact you to acquire documents for applying customs clearance once your baggage is located.
3. If you have obtained the case number of the baggage irregularity report (for example: TPRCI13166) through the assistance of the airport office or ground staff, you do not need to declare again.
